Woot Woot!! GOAL!!!!!

The night before Lexi and Braeden's first game, we decided to stay up for all hours of the night with all the neighborhood! It was a lot of fun, though! But we payed the price the next day when we had to be at the sports park BEFORE 8 a.m. Lovely!

"Bicky", Vinny and Alex were already planning to come for dinner, which is a 4-5 times a week thing... either here or there (it just has made it easy when both of our husbands are gone), and then we invited over Rachel, James, Aaron, McKayla, and Kenzie. We're so sad to say that they have sold their house and are moving in the next couple months or so. But they found a really nice family with some little ones to buy, so we're hoping that they will have a great time in the neighborhood with us.

Let's just say that dinner was yummy, but it got a little wild! Then we added a bunch of other girls from the neighborhood to the fun after dinner... and oh... SAND WAS EVERYWHERE!!!! I've said this before, and I'll probably say it over and over until the sandbox finds its doom, but I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with it!

Here are the little ones: LtoR around the table: Kenzie, Ella, Alex, Braeden, and Vinny.

Vicky, James, Lexi, and McKayla holding Kenzie.

Lexi took this one so I could prove that I was actually AT the dinner that I prepared for everyone. I looked completely

I no longer had control over the camera... obviously! Kenzie is pulling faces for the camera... and I don't know who the photographer is at this point!
Kenzie, Braeden and Vinny! They have so much fun together... even if it's a little wild!

So, I'm guessing Lexi is taking the picture... Kenzie, Braeden, and Vinny with McKayla behind.

Now McKayla is the photographer. Braeden is pretending to surf, Vinny, Kenzie, and Lexi behind. They are on the BBQ built-in thingy.

This is a look at the mayhem that started before 8 a.m. with everyone showing up for team pictures Saturday morning! Yikes! I can't even tell you how many MORE people were there.

Kimber and Braeden in front of their team banner!

Lexi's team banner. I think the raspberries look more like grapes than raspberry notes, but... it's still cute! And so are they!

This is only the first kick-off and she's already hot and tired with her hands above her head in exhaustion at 9:15. Lovely. You can just imagine how this progressed.

Emma and Lexi

Lexi refuses to leave her jersey tucked in. Just another thing we have to work on.

Each player had to sit out for 2 quarters. They have 9 on the team (6 of which are LDS... amazing!) and only 6 can be on the field at once. It gives them a good rest.

She did have a couple of really good throw-ins! Despite her wimpiness at attacking the ball if another player has it... especially the opponent. We're working on it!

The parents make a tunnel at the end for the players to run through! We cheer them on and they just giggle! Emma and Lexi coming through.
Warm-up for Braeden's game.
He has this thing about falling down... even when he SHOULDN'T!! So he's working on that! He's crazy.
This is his coach ready to give him hi-5 after he made his goal! Woot-woot!! He was very serious about the matter.
This kid is seriously the next Pele. We're pretty sure they put him in the wrong age division. But hey... it helps our team! Yay!

Good shot, Braeden! He had a couple of really good shots that bounced off the goal posts. Too bad.
Kimber and another little girl on the team.
Tori and Lexi getting some much needed rest and cold water while watching his game!
Kimber and Braeden
Ella got a hold of the water sprayer and had a good time chasing Taven around with it.
A really good time!
First kickoff of the second half.
The cheering section!
Braeden throwing in.
Kimber kicking off! Blow this one up... she's just so cute!

They all have a little problem not playing with their arms... ALL of them! It's just a little beehive moving around the field. Which is why they just end up walking the ball into the goal sometimes... because it gets caught int he middle of a hive of kids, and none of them can get it out, but somehow they seem to be moving... and they literally just walk it in! Ha! It's pretty funny, I have to say!

Lexi's team won; 1-0, and Braeden's ended up tying at 12 all. They actually had 13 goals, but they called one back. And besides... neither division keeps score... BUT the parents do! ;)

Good games, guys! This is a fun... and exhausting... hobby!

that makes me tired just LOOKING at those photos. And your parties all night long. You need a get-away, gal.

About Me

Crazy, stay-at-home mother of three; Alexa, Braeden, and Ella, and wife of Damian! We love life, although sometimes it's just hard to make it through one simple day. We all love each other... more than we can usually show or tell, and we love our friends and family very much! We LOVE the beach, having company, eating out (a rare treat now with three kids 8 and under), swimming, and playing outside!
