Rain, rain.. GO AWAY!!!

It's been raining off and on for quite some time now... so much so that Braeden's soccer practice was cancelled almost two weeks ago, BUT... this last weekend we were able to go out and enjoy the sunshine for most of the afternoon! Braeden had two birthday parties to attend; one clear across town at a sports park, and one right here at the end of the culdesac! The pictures below are of the kids playing just out here in the street.

Here's Ella and Alex hanging out in the wagon. She wanted so bad for him to just STAND UP and wander around with her... but he's just not quite there yet. She just had a fit! Poor girl! Alex is several months younger than her! She was doing pretty good at sharing... most of the time!
She would crouch down and try to get him to pay attention to her! And this is what it looked like from the other side. He's not too sure about her!

The little boy on the left if Cody, Braeden's friend whose birthday it was! Standing next to Braeden in the back is Vinny, Alex's brother. Those boys love Star Wars and Transformers... anything with fighting, and here they are borrowing light sabers and playing Clone Wars.
Below: LtoR: Vinny, Braeden, and CodyCody had a Batman bouncy house set up in the culdesac for all to play in until 5 that evening! Wow... we had a lot of fun in there! Above is Alexa and Ella!
Yay, Ella! It's very hard for a very short little one to keep their balance in one of these crazy things!
Vinny likes to drive, but he doesn't have his license yet. Probably because he never watches where he's going! He'd rather watch the fright on his passengers faces! Just kidding... he's new at it, and is getting better by the day! Lexi's only screaming because she is trying not to spill her Sprite.
See... Ella totally enjoys it!

Below is Vinny's mom, Vicky... and me!
Below Braeden is taking a much needed breather!
Here, he and Vinny thought it was fun to get going pretty fast and crash into the side of the bouncy house!

Little boys have sooo much fun being rough and rowdy! What a day! Then Vinny and his family came over for dinner... and we played some more! We had a lot of fun on Saturday, but we didn't get very much accomplished in the way of house work, yard work... other WORK! Oh, well! We're just grateful to have neighbors that we can call our friends and spend time with having fun!

It was a fun day -- I had to laugh as you retold the story with these pictures. Boys will be boys! Can't wait to do it again...hopefully, Vinny will soon learn to watch where he's going!

About Me

Crazy, stay-at-home mother of three; Alexa, Braeden, and Ella, and wife of Damian! We love life, although sometimes it's just hard to make it through one simple day. We all love each other... more than we can usually show or tell, and we love our friends and family very much! We LOVE the beach, having company, eating out (a rare treat now with three kids 8 and under), swimming, and playing outside!
