Be My Valentine...

Today we started the first of our several Valentine celebrations! Yay! Sigh... collapse!
Braeden's party at school was today, for which we had to provide a bag of Kisses last week, sliced apples today, and, of course, Valentines for all his fun friends. There are 9 boys and only 3 girls in his class right now... Needless to say... they are a VERY ROWDY bunch! They are also very cute! Here's how the party went: (follow the pictures...) Here's Ella forcing Braeden to share his snack and treats! And here she is eating the stolen goods! Mmmmmm... chocolate covered pretzels!More stealing! She actually ended up with all his pretzels! Good thing he didn't mind. He was very nice about it!Oh, the small and simple pleasures of toddlerhood!Playing pin-the-kiss-on-the-heart! (BTW: he lifted the blindfold and cheated a little... lovely!)Braeden and his friend, Hudson, said they were "stuck together". And they really were! Braeden had offered to go with him for the blindfold if he needed a friend. How nice! He's just soooo sweet sometimes!Chris, Hudson, and Braeden... just the boys!Ella... well, she was running a muck during the party! She was trying to push this chair over to the stairs at the stage... and one of the dad's was helping me wrangle her while I was taking pictures. She actually played with him a little... which is still saying a lot for Ella. She still has a hard time even looking at people, let alone playing with them!Where's Ella??Peek-a-boo!And this is the daily routine after class. They stay for little bit and play on the grassy area outside the rec center. Overall... a Happy Valentine Party!!!__________________________________________________

Below is a little section dedicated to the new, fun things Ella is doing and enjoying lately! Her latest things are:

Sitting at the counter for meals with the "BIG" kids on her very own stool. And yes, she has fallen a couple of times, but climbs right back up and has a fit if she thinks she's being left out.

Wearing shoes... ANYONE'S, but especially Lexi's because they're just the right size to be able to get on and keep on for long periods of time. She also really likes my high heels. And she's pretty good at walking around in them. That really scares Damian!

Telling us how old she is by holding up 1 finger!

Yodelling... just like Lexi and Braeden used to when they first learned how!

Having a fit in the store until Mommy finally takes her out of the shopping cart and lets her walk ALONE! It's so much fun... as you might imagine!

Climbing on stools, playing in the sinks, eating toothpaste, getting the caps off any bottle, chapstick, lipgloss... etc. We have such a good time laughing at her... and I have such a load of fun cleaning up after her and listening to her new talent: TANTRUMS.

Love you, Ella! It's a WAY good thing you're cute!

About Me

Crazy, stay-at-home mother of three; Alexa, Braeden, and Ella, and wife of Damian! We love life, although sometimes it's just hard to make it through one simple day. We all love each other... more than we can usually show or tell, and we love our friends and family very much! We LOVE the beach, having company, eating out (a rare treat now with three kids 8 and under), swimming, and playing outside!
