{December 19th, 2011}
We'll begin this post with our trip home to Utah for a few days!! Eric read the first Harry Potter book to the kids for like 4 of the hours! Amazing! Even Ella was listening until the last little bit... then she'd had ENOUGH!! I ended up finishing the 1st book with both Lexi and Braeden, but didn't get any farther than that! I'll read the rest to Braeden maybe next year. :o)
We stopped in St. George, and met my mom at Cornell and Tamie's to pick up a 4-wheeler {so we could have fun in the snow...} and go see the lights on the the temple grounds!
We ended up being super late for dinner, but they were gracious enough to still host us and warm our food! We hung out for a while, got the house tour... which is spectacular, and then headed over to the temple before heading the rest of the way to Kanarra where we would spend several blissful days in the snow!!

| The color is spectacular... and we love enjoying the sights and feel of the Christmas season on the temple grounds! |

| But the temple is so much more than a tourist attraction to us. It is the place where we started our forever family by being sealed for time and all eternity! I'm so grateful for that opportunity. The temple is a beacon of light for us in a world filled with such awful stuff. |
