Game On!!

These are pix of Lexi's FIRST game on April 3rd... when her team didn't even have enough players to cover the field. They play 6 on 6 and since it was Spring Break... everyone was gone. They only had 5 players, but the other team had enough for us to borrow one. They just switched players every quarter and NO ONE on either team got a rest. They all played all 4 quarters! And man... they ran their tails off.
This season's new LUCKY underwear are the color purple. She was wearing blue this game and they got annihilated 5 - 0. But since then, they have won one and tied one... with purple underwear!
Lexi has had several shots on goal... just unlucky and didn't go in, but has had 2 assists in 2 of the 4 goals her team has made! Yay for Lexi!! This is a VAST improvement! No longer a daisy picker! ;)

She'll even take on the bigger kids... (she's not super aggressive, but she's not afraid anymore!)
Take a breather... those cheeks are rosy!

This is what Ella does at an early, CHILLY game!

And here's our Hooray Tunnel at the end of the game. The kids get to run through while we cheer them on... from both teams!
Go GREEN!! (They are the Green Fireballs... The coaches daughter liked that name and we never did an actual vote... it just happened. I'm of the opinion that you don't EVER need to say "Green..." or whatever color you may be wearing... that's fairly obvious, right????? Colleen and I gave some helpful ideas like: The Sour Patch Kids, The Granny Smith's, etc. But Lexi wouldn't even relay these ideas. Stinker!)
Game on! It's going to be a great, and SHORT, spring soccer season! It's only 8 weeks and their last game is on the 22nd of May! Woo-hoo!!

About Me

Crazy, stay-at-home mother of three; Alexa, Braeden, and Ella, and wife of Damian! We love life, although sometimes it's just hard to make it through one simple day. We all love each other... more than we can usually show or tell, and we love our friends and family very much! We LOVE the beach, having company, eating out (a rare treat now with three kids 8 and under), swimming, and playing outside!
