Husky HERO!!!

Hip, Hip, Horray!!! Lexi FINALLY got the Husky Hero award at Friday Flag on 08 Jan. (Braeden's birthday!!) Mrs. Galbraith told me several months ago that she wanted to wait until Damian got home so he could come and enjoy, too! So... here we are, with our Daddy home, birthday fun, and a well deserved Husky Hero award! Huskies are the mascot for the school! And the teachers get the opportunity to highlight one outstanding student for the week! They don't necessarily have one in each class every week, but by the end of the year each child should get a turn at it! They get a certificate, a pencil, sticker, a free meal at Islands Burgers, and the chance to spend the next week sharing some of their favorite things, a poster called Me, Myself, and I so that the other kids get to know them a little better, and choose what will fill the Estimation Jar! She chose bubble gum, and we were supposed to put in 95 pieces, but with Damian's help it turned out to be 97. Hmmm.
Congratulations, Lexi! We're so proud of you! You make us smile and laugh all the time and we know for sure that you totally deserved this a long time ago! You were very patient, though, and always showed your classmates love and respect when they got it! We love you very much and hope that you continue to excell in your academics! Smarty pants!

One happy little girl!
Mrs. Galbraith doing her own personal highlight of Lexi!

Both of these girls love school! And they have a good time with each other in class! Good thing, huh?!!

At the end of school I went in to the classroom to hear Lexi's personal tribute from Mrs. G. She had forgotten to tell us to stick around in the morning after Friday Flag, so Braeden and Damian had already taken off for Universal Studios! (For Braeden's birthday/Daddy-Son date!) Kaleb and Lexi love Ella and always want to carry her around, but for the moment they are content to just hold her hand and show her the way to the car! Cute kids!

About Me

Crazy, stay-at-home mother of three; Alexa, Braeden, and Ella, and wife of Damian! We love life, although sometimes it's just hard to make it through one simple day. We all love each other... more than we can usually show or tell, and we love our friends and family very much! We LOVE the beach, having company, eating out (a rare treat now with three kids 8 and under), swimming, and playing outside!
