But for now... Just like Damian took Braeden out for a day all by himself, he also took the girls for a day's adventure! Just before we went to Utah on MLKJr. weekend, we pulled Lexi out of school to head to Sea World with him! The had such a great time. But I have to say that he is AWFUL at taking pictures! He did really well with Braeden at Universal Studios, but it went seriously downhill after that. You'll see what I mean by the time you get to the end of this post!
Lexi headed first for the stinky penguins! They have been learning all about penguins at school, so this was fun for her. She even knew a bunch of the different kinds of penguins! Plus, she noticed just how FAT some of the Emperor Penguins were. Lovely!
And WHOA, NELLIE! You'll never believe this! She actually TOUCHED the rays! She has been so scared to do it... all the times we've been before, but this time she stepped out of her box! She thought it was great, and then didn't want to leave!
Good for you, Lexi! We're glad you loved it! (Plus, we've been reading The 7 Habits for Happy Kids, and one of the baby step goals in there is to try something new or something you've always been afraid to do! Yay... it's paying off!!!)

Then Ella just barely had her day... on Thursday the 28th! Damian had to run into work for a few minutes, and then they headed down to the San Diego Zoo!!! They had fun, but he said that she didn't get really super-excited about anything. Probably because she's NEVER without the other two yahoos!
And... Damian only had his cell phone for pix this time. That's pretty sad... and these are literally the only two he sent me. Sad! Poor Ella! Ya, right!! Poor Ella, my EYE!
At the new Elephant Odyssey.
At the new Elephant Odyssey.Overall, the kids had a wonderful time with their daddy! And he was really good to take them. They were all seriously gone for the entire day! I didn't think it would last that long with Ella... and that was even before I got a call about 20 mins. after they left HOME... and she was crying! Then I got several other phone calls that had a similar ring to them, but he stuck it out and made sure that his kids know that he loves them very much!
Thanks, Daddy!
