Captain Field Day & Graduation Day Girl!!

First off... nothing to do with the title, but I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to Grandpa Linda (aka. Grandpa Mike) for coming down just for an hour and a half of fun in the classroom with Lexi for their class Father's Day thing! What a nice grandpa we have! We couldn't ask for better! THANK YOU, GRANDPA! You made Lexi's day and she will probably not forget any time soon that you got kicked all the way back to the Gingerbread Man in Candyland!! ;)Field Day was Monday... the day before the Father's Day thing, and then today was Kindergarten graduation! Boo-hoo! For both Lexi and me! What a wonderful teacher she has! I just don't want to see her grow up so fast, but her teacher is so great that Lexi just wants to stay in kindergarten forever! Hopefully she'll change her mind over the summer! Everyone got an award that Mrs. Shorack made and pinned on them. Lexi and Evan both got the "Super Reader" award! Probably no surprise to those of you who know her well!Congratulations, Lexi! You totally passed... and EXCELLED kindergarten with FLYING COLORS!!!! You are the smartest little gal! I could never have imagined that a little girl could so such wonderful things... like your artwork, and your reading ability! You just blow me away!

Braeden and Ethan... one of the other little boy's brothers. They have played together before... when I used to walk... (ya, that's gone the way of the wind!) The last thing on their list of things to do for the Field Day rotation was get snowcones... and they offered them to siblings, too! So nice!

Afterwards we let the kids play in the culdesac for a while! Fun stuff... especially since Ella has a new freedom in DRIVING the gator! Good thing it was totally out of battery within about 10 minutes! Ha!
